As an active successful hosting company for many years at our former location www.webspeedhosting.com we had no clue as to how much our businesses were negatively impacting the environment until we started doing a little research on the subject.

“Out of curiosity is born a movement.” So after much embarrassing self educating the conclusion was eminent, that we must do our part by reducing our own carbon footprint and our negative impact on the environment. Through this discovery it came to our attention the IT sector has a MUCH greater climate impact than first apparent.

As most of you know the number of websites on the internet has grown to well over a billion and growing by thousands each day. That means a lot of servers, a lot of depleting resources gone and a lot of carbon emissions. So we aligned with the best partners and took steps to minimize our environmental impact at our office following our partners lead, who even also then switched to 36% more efficient servers,

Our partners weren’t stopped there the reason why we chose them. We are now 130% wind powered! That's right! 130%! Not just neutralizing our environmental impact, but reversing it by purchasing Certified Renewable Energy Credits representing 130% of the electricity used to both power and cool each of our servers!

While we can't build a wind farm here in South Florida, we're doing the next best thing by partnering with providers who over-invest in renewable energy resources! All of our partner’s Green-e Certified RECs have been registered, verified, and retired from the market.
